Robert D. Gerst, 73, of Milesburg, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Robert was born in Pittsburgh on March 26, 1945. In 1989, he married his beloved wife, Carole (Myers) Gerst, who survives him at home.
Robert attained his master’s degree in chemistry. He worked as a chemist for Cerro Copper and Brass.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10 am at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. at 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, with Father George Jakopac officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. at PO Box 7, Bellefonte, PA 16823, to aid with funeral expenses.
