Darlene K. McVicker, 75, of Pine Grove Mills, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born August 26, 1943 to parents Clair and Pearl Breon in Bellefonte.
Darlene was a graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked for JC Penny/Thrift Drugs in State College for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by brothers Loren and Donald Breon, sisters Joanne Miller and Toots Poorman, and nephew Scotty Whiteman. She is survived by brother Rick Breon, and sisters Bonnie Cain and Mary Byers, and many nieces and nephews.
Darlene was the heart, soul and sparkle of her family, she will be missed greatly by so many including her loving husband of 60 years, Bill McVicker, her children Bill Jr & Sally McVicker, Krystal & Mark Harter, Brent & Dena McVicker, her grandchildren, Heather & Jimmy Snedden, Nick & Jera Harter, Chelsea & Lovic Ingram, Brooke McVicker and her biggest blessing, great grandson Kelyn James Snedden.
Darlene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed over 45 years of family vacations to Ocean City, New Jersey, eating endless ice cream at the Great Grange Fair and most recently marching around with Kelyn.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
