Obituary for Anna K. Segraves
Anna K. Segraves, 93, of Antes Fort, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on August 2, 1928, in Eagleville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gaylord and Madeline (Spangler) Bathurst. On May 14, 1949, she married Leo W. Segraves, who preceded her in death on May 14, 2007, after sharing 58 years of marriage together.
Anna attended school in Blanchard and Lock Haven. She was employed at Sylvania in Mill Hall during WWII while still a student in high school and at several of their other facilities in the area over the years. She enjoyed and was most proud of her many years of employment at GTE Sylvania in Williamsport, retiring from there in 1990.
She was an avid reader, loved to dance and was a loyal Pirates and Steelers fan.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Teresa Segraves of Avis and Pamela Bottorf (Glenn) of Linden. Also surviving is a sister, Carol Renninger (Don) of Mill Hall.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Condo, and a brother, Harry Bathurst.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
