Obituary for Charles "Charlie" A. Struble

Charles A. “Charlie” Struble Sr., 64, of Bellefonte, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Born on December 13, 1956 in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Rodney M. and Emma Mae (Loesch) Struble. On July 19, 1986 he married the love of his life, Kathy (Korman) Struble, who survives at home after sharing 34 years of marriage.
Charles was a graduate of State College High School class of 1974 and attended CPI for Auto Collision Repair. He drove truck for Ameron Construction Co. Inc., from 1988 to the present.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by his children, Heather (Bair) Struble (Michael Bair) of Cassville, PA, Natasha (Flory) Struble (Scott Flory) of Port Matilda, PA, Charles Struble Jr., (Ashley Zimmerman) of Renovo, PA, and by one brother, Mike Struble and one sister, Linda (Chesney) Struble. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Caitlin Thompson, Evelyn Thompson, Madeline Bair, Megan Flory, Bently Flory and Colton Struble.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney “Bud” Struble, and one sister, Evelyn Hawn Struble.
Charlie loved hunting and loved restoring cars. He restored John Deere tractors and enjoyed driving his Peterbuilt dump truck # 218 from Ameron and plowing snow. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Friends will be received on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Following CDC recommendations, social distancing is encouraged, and face coverings will be required at all services.
