Obituary for Charlotte "Sherri" A. Seybold
Charlotte (Sherri) A. Seybold, Loving wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away on March 13, 2022, at her home in Bellefonte at the age of 79. She was born to Ernest Kellander and Marcella (Gillette) Kellander in Snowshoe Township on December 12, 1942.
She grew up in Lock Haven and met her husband, Eugene, when they were in high school. They had three children, Craig, Cris, and Carl. They lived in the Philadelphia area for many years before returning to Central PA, where they made their home in Pine Glen. In 2013 they moved to Bellefonte to be closer to her work and family.
Sherri loved to cook. She loved making Holiday cookies and candies but was best known for her fudge. In the Spring, Summer and Fall she spent much of her time outdoors in her garden. She loved to travel with her husband, Eugene, and enjoyed spending time at the beach. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Sherri attended South Hills Business School and earned her certification as a bookkeeper. She worked for a number of different companies.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Craig Seybold and his wife, Susan, of Raleigh, NC; Cris Seybold and his wife, Cathy, of Alexandria, VA; Carl Seybold and his wife, Cheryl, of Bellefonte, PA; several grandchildren, Katrina Quinley, Joseph Solis, Pamela (Joe) McConkey, Carly Seybold, Caroline Seybold, Carmen Seybold, Cate Seybold; four great grandkids, Jackson and Christopher Quinley-Smith, Haley Quinley-Casher and Camille Quinley-Perrotta.
A celebration of life service will be held on April 16, 2022, at Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center, 559 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall, PA, at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, 600 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
