Obituary for Christine Elizabeth Warner
Christine Elizabeth Warner, 49, of Port Matilda, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at home. Born on May 5, 1972, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Laird, Sr. and Linda Sue Frantz, who survives.
Her love for all creatures big and small, made her a truly special person that the world along with her family will surely miss. She spent most of her life working with children, primarily as a teacher for Mt. Nittany Preschool. She took pride in her job and treated every student as if they were her own.
Along with her mother, Chris is survived by her husband, Cory Warner, whose love for Chris will never fade away. She is also survived by her pride and joy, her son, Garett Warner, of State College; one sister, Amy Smith (Jim) and one brother, Brett Laird (Rebekah), both of Port Matilda, and one very special fur baby, Sassy “Sassafras” Warner.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bobby” Lee Laird, Jr.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
