Obituary for Colleen F. Ross
Colleen F. Ross, 57, of Bellefonte, PA passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA. Born on March 28, 1964, in Cambridge, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Marguerite Viola (Atchison) Freeman. On February 16, 1991, she married the love of her life, Christopher A. Ross, who survives at home after sharing over 30 years of marriage together.
Colleen was a 1982 graduate of Cambridge High School. She went on to earn her Associates Degree from Columbus State in Architectural Drafting. She worked as a Renovation Supervisor for The Pennsylvania State University for 19 years. Prior to her service at Penn State, she spent 20 years working for the State of Ohio and the Ohio Building Authority.
In addition to her husband, Christopher, she is survived by her three sons, Corey Alexander Ross, Chandler Forest Ross, both of Bellefonte, and Charles Allen Ross of Pullman, Washington. Also surviving are three siblings, Cynthia Freeman of Grove City, Ohio, Gregory Freeman of Cumberland, Ohio, and Rhonda Spychalski (Matt) of Grove City, Ohio.
Colleen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. She loved spending time with her sons and was always their number one cheerleader at all their sporting events! In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
