Obituary for Connie Mae Poorman

Connie Mae Poorman, 78, of Bellefonte, went home to the Lord on December 17, 2021. Connie was born on February 8, 1943, in Lock Haven to the late John and Gloria (Rossman) Tressler.

Connie was a very devoted, loving, and supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Connie enjoyed snuggling with grandchildren, cooking, going to yard sales, playing board games and cards, watching paranormal shows, listening to country music, and shopping; she was always on the hunt for a good deal.

Connie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Connie was the loving mother of four daughters, Tammy (Randy) Hahn, Karen Poorman, Jessica (Bob) Bradley, and Gloria (Kevin) Kiehl, all of Bellefonte; the adored grandmother of Stacey (Clair) Rockey, Bruce (Cassi) Poorman, Brittany (Thomas) Engle, Joshua Breon, Maison Bradley, Karsyn Bradley, Chris Bumgarner, and Brenden Bradley; the devoted Mammy of her great-grandchildren Parker, Archer, and Kasher Bradley; Talen, Barrett, and TJ Engle.

Connie is survived by five siblings, Elaine Meyer, Jessy Tressler, Marion Perryman, Diane Burns, and Peggy Tressler, and a sister-in-law and close friend, Sandy Lutz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings; a grandson, Joshua Breon; and a son-in-law, Bob Bradley.

At Connie’s request, there will be no services; her family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
