Obituary for Dolores Marie Struble
Dolores Marie Struble, 68, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on January 27, 1952 in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Nevin D. and Marie (Brooks) Struble.
Dolores was a 1969 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked as a secretary for the PA Fish & Boat Commission in Bellefonte from 1969 until her retirement.
She is survived by her two sisters, Pauline Jordan of Bellefonte, and Shirley Rider of Pleasant Gap, and several nieces and nephews.
Dolores enjoyed hiking, gardening, and shopping. She collected jewelry, rocks, and Breyer Horses over the years. Horses were her greatest love in life. She has many trophies and ribbons from competing in horse shows all over the country.
Funeral Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church at 179 S. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823.
