Obituary for Erin A. Cramer

Erin A. Cramer, 62, of Clarence, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on August 10, 1960, in Snow Shoe, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Swartz) McKean. She was married to her beloved husband, Paul E. Cramer, who preceded her in death in 2016 after sharing 36 years of marriage together.

Erin was a 1978 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She worked at the Snow Shoe Sandwich Shop for 15 years until taking a bartending position at the VFW Post 5644 in Snow Shoe in April 2022. She always said that had she known that there was money in bartending, she would have started a long time before she did!

She is survived by her two daughters, Julie R. Blair (Brandon) of Howard, and Jasa L. McKean (Patrick Mullaney) of Chadds Ford, and her grandson, Jameson Blair. Also surviving are three sisters and three brothers.

Erin was a member of the VFW Post #5644 in Snow Shoe as well as the Clarence Moose Lodge 1565. Known well for her outgoing personality, she always made sure to live life to the fullest and would most often be seen laughing and having fun. Whatever she was doing, she did it with her beautiful smile that could light up any room. All these characteristics, and her love of her just getting to chat with people, are the biggest reasons that she loved being a bartender at the VFW. Through the years, both at the VFW and the Sandwich Shop, she was able to forge numerous lasting friendships. More than anything though, she loved spending time with her grandson, Jameson.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Erin to Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., PO Box 7, Bellefonte, PA 16823 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
