Obituary for Joseph R. Storms
Joseph R. Storms, 38, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born on December 20, 1984, in State College, he was the son of the late Howard “Randy” and Helen (Leightley) Storms.
Joe was a 2003 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He went on to graduate from the Auto-Body Collision program at CPI. Over the years, he held various positions in the auto detailing industry, including at Stockers and Team Blue. Most recently, he had been working part time at the DMV.
He is survived by his two brothers, Jeff and John, and a sister, Leigh. Also surviving are his two aunts, JoAnn Knupp, and Mary Jecha (Larry), and several cousins.
As a car enthusiast, he loved to tinker around and fix things up. He enjoyed going on mountain rides and hanging out with his friends.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 9:30-10 AM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will directly follow, beginning at 10 AM, with Pastor Will Osman officiating. Joe will be laid to rest beside his parents in Spring Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in a private service.
