Obituary for Mary Jo Rubin
Mary Jo Rubin, 73, of Reedsville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, December 11, 2020. Born on May 13, 1947 in Bellefonte, she was the only child of the late Donald and Maxine (Crafts) Leamer. She married her beloved husband, Jay H. Rubin, who survives at home after sharing 35 years of marriage together.
Mary Jo was a 1965 graduate of State College High School. She worked at Lewistown Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician and worked for Elmcroft Senior Living until her retirement.
She is survived by her two sons, Jamie Brown and his wife, Stephanie, of Bellefonte, and Jeremy Brown and his wife, Sydney, of Port Matilda; step daughter, Rebecca Rubin, and step son, Joel Rubin, both of British Columbia Canada.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately for the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
