Obituary for Michael Allen Walker
Michael Allen Walker, 46, of State College, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Born on July 2, 1976, in Bellefonte, he was the son of Ray “Chip” A. Walker, Jr. and Carol Walker, who survived in Pleasant Gap. In 2009, he married his beloved wife, Bonnie Cirillo, who survives at home.
Michael was a 1995 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He went on to attend and graduate from Steven’s Tech with his associate degree in auto body and collision repair. He worked his whole life for The Pennsylvania State University.
In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by a daughter, Payton Walker, of State College, and a brother, Brian Walker, and his wife, Kelley, of Bellefonte. Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Joyce Walker, and in-laws, David and Joan Cirillo, and Georgia Cirillo.
Michael was preceded in death by his son, Henry, maternal grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Walker, and paternal grandfather, Ray Walker, Sr.
He liked to spend time riding motorcycles, tinkering with cars (classic and late model), remodeling his homes, and he enjoyed dogs-especially his Zoey and Ziggy. He was also a member of the Bellefonte Elks Lodge BPOE #1094. He loved being outside, drinking good beer and making others laugh.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 5pm until 7pm, at Sunset Park, 850 McKee St. State College, PA 16803.
