Obituary for Nadezhda Hope Pinkevitch

Nadezhda Hope Pinkevitch, 71, of Pleasant Gap, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on July 31, 1950, in Zvozy, Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Luba.

Nadezhda dedicated her life to raising her family and taking care of her home – a job that she was proud to do.

In addition to her husband Peter, she is survived by her five children, Viktor, Svetlana, Rosa, Lyudmila, and Eduard.

She was a member of the Zion Community Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially her famous crocheted butterflies. She loved giving the butterflies away to the people that she met over the years. They will linger on as a small piece of her spirit that will remain with those that she cared about most.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wetzlerfuneralhome.com.
