Nancy Elizabeth Bressler, 85, of Bellefonte, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on September 22, 1936, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Ellen (Bechdel) Billett. On June 12, 1953, she married her beloved husband, William “Bill” D. Bressler, who survives at home after sharing over 68 years of marriage together.
Nancy was a 1953 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She dedicated her life to raising her family and taking care of the home, a job that she was proud to do.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by their two children, Sandra Moyer, and Douglas Bressler (Rebecca), four grandchildren, Jason Moyer, Aaron Moyer, Dylan Bressler (Arianna), and Jessica Bressler, and one great grandchild, Jordyn Marchek-Moyer.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, James and Anna Marie Billett, and a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Dennis Maney.
Nancy enjoyed going camping and fishing at her second home in Kettle Creek State Park. She and Bill traveled to many places around the United States in their RV, including Alaska in 1995. She loved being outside and attending to her flowers in the summertime.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 10-11 a.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Scott Brown officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Zion Cemetery in Bellefonte.
