Obituary for Patricia R. Gilbaugh

Patricia R. (Pat) Gilbaugh, 88, of Black Forest Village (Lock Haven), entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Born on November 2, 1934, in Coatesville PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Helen (Jones) Ramaley. On December 5, 1953, in Coatesville, she married Robert C. (Bob) Gilbaugh. They were three months short of celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.

Pat was a 1952 graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville. She was a homemaker but worked part-time at the Unionville Elementary School collecting lunch money from the students. She, also, work at Mastrippolito Mushroom Cannery. Once her children graduated, she worked at and retired from PNC Bank in Coatesville as a teller in the drive-through window.

After being born and raised in Coatesville, she raised her family in nearby Unionville, before retiring to the Black Forest Village in the Pennsylvania Wilds north of Lock Haven.

Pat accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior on January 19, 1969. She became a member of Coatesville Presbyterian Church where she was involved with The Lifeliner Sunday School Class and worked with The Crusader Youth Group (6-8 grade).

She is a member of Calvary Bible Church of Centre Hall. She & Bob have the recognition of traveling the furthest every Sunday to attend church.

She enjoyed knitting and every member of the family (including great-grandchildren) is always clothed in the finest sweaters, coats, hats, and mittens. She gardened and canned and froze enough vegetables to last her family throughout the year. She enjoyed watching her family play sports and kept up with her favorite teams.

Pat had three sons – Rob, Rick, & Ron. Rob preceded her to Heaven seven years ago. Their wives are Terry Jo (Rob), Kim Marie, (Rick), and Sherie (Ron). Rob has 5 children: Rene, Jonathan, Tiffany, Zachary, and David (deceased). Rick has 2 children: Kristy and Kurtis. Ron has 2 children: Lee and Laura. Pat also has 20 great grandchildren.

Everyone is invited to a memorial service held by the family on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Bible Church, 600 N. Pennsylvania Ave. in Centre Hall, PA. Friends will be received prior to the service. After the service everyone is invited to enjoy a Dessert & Candy Buffet. This was Pat’s favorite part of every meal. The dessert table was always open.
