Obituary for Paul E. Dashem
Paul E. Dashem, 72, of Pleasant Gap, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Born on April 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Elmer J. and Mary E. (Brown) Dashem.
Paul was a 1967 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the PA Fish and Boat Commission for 31 years until his retirement in 1999.
He is survived by his four siblings, Jean Dashem Keene of Boalsburg, Donald G. Boller, Naomi Dashem Barbour, both of State College, and Norma Dashem Reed of Bellefonte, and his large extended family.
Paul was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Howard. Additionally, he was a member of the Pleasant Gap Lions Club, the Centre County Grange, and the Pleasant Gap Fire Company. He looked forward to attending the Grange Fair each year. Paul loved anything that allowed him to be outdoors, and especially enjoyed archery and rifle hunting for deer, and fishing.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
