Richard A. Davidson, 76, of Milesburg, passed away at home on Friday, January 7, 2022. Born on October 3, 1945, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Harold “Nook” and Thelma (Lucas) Davidson. On September 30, 1967, he married his beloved wife, Bonnie (Shivery) Davidson, who survives at home after sharing over 54 years of marriage together.

Richard was a 1963 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a part owner and truck driver for Davidson Brothers Trucking for 57 years.

In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by his two children, Tammy Irion (Mark) of Yarnell, and Matthew Davidson (Terrah) of Bellefonte, and three grandchildren, Kaleb Irion, Charlize Davidson, and Samantha Davidson. Also surviving are two brothers, Michael Davidson (Audrey) of Runville, and Thomas Davidson (Barbara) of Zion.

Richard was a member of the Runville United Methodist Church. Additionally, he was a member of the Family Motor Coaching Association, NRA, and River Ranch RV Resort. He loved to travel in his motorhome. His favorite place on Earth was River Ranch, Florida, where he and Bonnie spent their winters. He looked forward to hunting with his son, son-in-law, and grandson each year. Above all, he treasured the time that he spent with his family and they came before anything else.
