Ronald (Ron) Lee Burk, 82, passed peacefully into eternity while
surrounded by family on Friday, July 14, 2023, at his home in McClure,
Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife Sandra (Annabel) Burk, his four children,
Harmony (Pamela) Cooper, Brenda Willis, Ronald R. Burk, and Barbara
Burdette, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Ron was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and raised in Pleasant.
Gap, Pennsylvania, the son of Willard and Priscilla (Yost) Burk. Ron
lived throughout Pennsylvania before settling in Mifflin County for the
past 38 years.
After high school, Ron joined the Army and served for four years in
Germany. He returned home to marry his sweetheart, begin a family and
start a lifetime career in his own landscape business, Ron’s Handyman
Service. Ron also worked as a Maintenance Director for several
different institutions.
Ron and his wife, Sandy, were married in 1964 and celebrated their 59th
anniversary on February 8th . Together they have faithfully attended a
non-denominational home-based fellowship church their entire lives.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 1:30PM at
the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Company located at 16 Brown Township
Drive, (16 PA-665), Reedsville, Pennsylvania with light refreshments
and fellowship following the service. The family is suggesting donations
