Obituary for Rose Marie Regopoulos
Rose Marie Regopoulos, 82, of State College, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Centre Care in Bellefonte. Born on June 25, 1939, in Liberty, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John Elias and Sarah (Dowling) Roupp.
Rose was a graduate of Blossburg High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Neyhart’s, Valley Farms Dairy and Fry’s Tire several years, and as a buyer for Stokes Merrill until her retirement in 2004.
She is survived by her son, Mark Regopoulos of State College, and a brother, John Earl Roupp (Linda) of Arnot, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond.
Rose was a member of the ABWA for Lycoming County, where she served as a past President and was honored as the Inaugural Woman of the Year. She also worked as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Beauty Consultant for 20+ years.
There will be a public viewing held on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 9:00-10:00 A.M., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral Mass will immediately follow at the funeral home, at 10:00 A.M., with Deacon Thomas Boldin officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Kay Foundation, which makes a difference in the lives of victims of cancer or domestic violence. Donations may be mailed to The Mary Kay Foundation, PO Box 799044, Dallas, TX 75379-9044.
