Obituary for Susan Mary Snook
Susan Mary Snook, 57, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Centre Care. Born on June 17, 1965, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late John Shawley and Patricia (Lose) Shawley, who survives at her home in Bellefonte.
Susan was a 1983 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked as a secretary at Penn State.
In addition to her mother, Patricia, she is survived by her daughter, Jordyn Grey of Bellefonte, and a sister, Brenda Horner, of Tennessee, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her father, she was predeceased by two brothers, Terry, and Robert “Bob.”
Susan enjoyed camping, especially at Raystown. She loved to be with her family and friends and would look forward to their Poker Nights. She also enjoyed watching Hallmark and Christmas movies and playing BINGO at Centre Care.
There will be a public viewing held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 5-7 P.M., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 7 P.M., with Pastor Doug Conway officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
