Virginia G. Luther, 91, of Osceola Mills, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Embassy of Hearthside Manor in State College. Born in Osceola Mills, on July 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Greslick) Timcoe. On September 23, 1953, she married Vincent C. Luther, who preceded her in death October 5, 2010, after sharing 57 years of marriage together.
Virginia was a busy housewife, raising her four children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Morrison (Jim) of Bellefonte, and Kathy Peter (Dan) of Lock Haven, and her late son Ronald’s wife, Stephanie, of Zion, who provided Virginia with much loving support over the years following her husband’s death. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Nicole Eckley of Florida, Mike Eckley (Erin) of DuBois, Doug Peter (Korrie) of Lock Haven, and Pam Peter of Hollywood, Maryland; and four great grandchildren: Madison and Tucker Eckley, and Kyleigh and Kayden Peter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Ronald and Alan Luther, a brother, James, and sister, Gladys.
Virginia enjoyed baking and making Sunday family dinners. She would always look forward to spending time with her family and the daily morning coffee trips to the Waffle Shoppe with her friends. She also enjoyed taking long walks with her favorite fur buddy, Ben; he kept her motivated and provided years of enjoyment and comfort for her.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
