A Tribute to Our Mom
(Read to Mom Saturday, May 29, 2021, before she passed away)
By Yvonne Mongold, Daughter

Inwardly charged by the music of her soul,
Passionately surrendered to the nature of God.
Empowered with strength to endure each day,
Content and grateful for the simple pleasures in life.

Hidden serenity in the recesses of her heart,
Confidence and faith in the promises of God.
The audacity of a bulldog to climb the highest mountain;
…..incredible grace to walk the lowest valley!

An unwavering faith to believe in the impossible,
A matchless loyalty and faithfulness to what is right.
A supreme endurance to battle all grief and pain.
Plain and simple, nothing fancy…..but a mansion awaits on high!

A tenderness and softness known only to mothers,
Revering all her children…..and reaping more than she sowed.
Unique SHE was, unique we are…..unique we will be,
With HER enormous courage to face anything that lies ahead.
